This is one extraordinary night of music you won’t want to miss.
Just weeks after his induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame, legendary Nashville songwriter and recording artist Paul Overstreetcomes to Spicewood for an intimate evening of songs and stories of the music that helped define modern country.
And he’s bringing a couple of talented friends with him. Acclaimed musicians Mike Loudermilk and John Patti will join Paul on stage, adding even more musical depth to this special evening of hits, stories and extraordinary musicianship.
Paul Overstreet isn’t simply a country music star—he is one of the songwriters behind some of country music’s most enduring hits. His remarkable catalog includes “Forever and Ever, Amen,” “On the Other Hand,” “When You Say Nothing at All,” “Love Can Build a Bridge,” “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy,” “Some Beach” and many more.
His songs have been recorded by some of the biggest names in country music, including Randy Travis, George Jones, Keith Whitley, Alison Krauss, The Judds, Tanya Tucker, Kenny Chesney and Blake Shelton. Overstreet himself has also enjoyed a successful recording career, with multiple Top 10 and No. 1 hits. He is a two-time GRAMMY® Award winner, a member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and a five-time BMI Country Songwriter of the Year.
But this evening is about more than the hits.
It’s also about hearing some of the stories from the man who wrote them.
With Loudermilk and Patti alongside him, Paul will bring those songs and stories to life in a relaxed, intimate setting—the kind of evening where great musicianship, great stories and great songs all share the stage.
Make This Evening Extraordinary
For those looking for an even more personal experience, Spicewood Arts is offering an Intimate Artist Reception with Paul Overstreet, available as an add-on to any concert ticket.
Only 20 spots available • 6:00–6:30 PM
Enjoy an intimate conversation with Paul and complimentary wine before the concert, hear personal stories and behind-the-scenes moments that won’t be part of the main performance, and have the opportunity to meet him personally.
This is a rare chance to spend time with a newly inducted Country Music Hall of Fame songwriter in a setting far removed from a Nashville concert hall.
The reception is limited to just 20 guests and must be purchased ($50) in addition to a concert ticket.
A Night to Remember
Whether you have spent years singing along to Paul’s songs or simply love great country music, this opening-night performance promises something truly special: the songs you know, the stories you’ve never heard, and the man who wrote them—joined by two exceptional musicians and friends.
Come celebrate with us as we welcome Paul Overstreet & Friends—fresh from one of country music’s highest honors—to the Spicewood Arts stage.
