Celebrating a Legend. Honoring His Music.
Join Spicewood Arts for an extraordinary evening celebrating the life, music, and legacy of Tony Campise, one of Austin’s most beloved and influential jazz musicians.
For this special tribute, Tony’s original Baker’s Dozen band reunites onstage, bringing together the musicians who helped shape the distinctive sound of one of Austin’s legendary jazz ensembles.
Joining them is Carmen Bradford, Grammy Award-winning jazz vocalist and former featured singer with the legendary Count Basie Orchestra.
A five-time Grammy nominee and 2024 Grammy Award winner, Bradford has performed alongside jazz greats including Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, Wynton Marsalis, and George Benson. Her remarkable voice and musical artistry make her the perfect addition to this unforgettable celebration.
Tony Campise was celebrated for his extraordinary musicianship, fluid style, and mastery of multiple reed instruments. A fixture of Austin’s jazz scene, he performed with legends including Frank Sinatra, Sarah Vaughan, and The Manhattan Transfer.
A Toast to Tony Campise is more than a concert. It’s a reunion, a celebration of friendship, and a tribute to the enduring music of a cherished Austin original.
Come raise a glass, share the memories, and experience an extraordinary evening of jazz featuring the original Baker’s Dozen and the incomparable Carmen Bradford.
